Welcome to Taste of Chicago. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on Taste of Chicago mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
Taste of Chicago is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.
Taste of Chicago The city known for its prime rib steaks and deep-pan pizzas hosts the annual Taste of Chicago festival in Grant Park, featuring the menu highlights of more than 60 restaurants. The event celebrated its 27th birthday in 2007 and has grown over the years to attract around 3.5 million people over ten days.
Restaurants of all descriptions showcase their cooking in colorful pavilions throughout the park. Mini-portions of a plethora of delicious dishes are available for two or three food tickets, which are sold in strips of 11. Chefs give cooking demonstrations and a variety of entertainment is thrown in to keep visitors happy while they're munching.
